This species was described by Seguy in 1923 from only larva samples collected from Morocco by G. Buchet. Types and paratypes are unavailable, originality of this species is based on the given description by Seguy and especially on the presence in this species of a complete saddle and a seta 2-X that would have only 6 branches.
The adult morphology remains unknown.
